The HCA Contemporary Crafts Masters is in its final weeks, the final outcomes and critical report to be handed in by end of November. The project will continue beyond the Masters, but it has been given the best start possible, the foundations are laid to take it on to the next period of overlooked feminist history. There is not a week goes by without learning of another forgotten woman whose name should be instantly familiar, but has been written out of the archive.

Suggestions of women of history to commemorate are always welcome. There are so many to recover from the counter-archive.
